Have you ever thought about becoming an entrepreneur and launching a wonderful new product or offer a unique service? Most of us are scared to death when it comes to stepping out of our comfort zone, leaving the corporate world behind, which comes with financial safety and so much more. But they say the future is of entrepreneurs and mainly of those who learn to utilize the wonderful opportunities of the online world.
If you are stuck in a job that is keeping you in stress and you work long hours, which is the case usually, it’s not easy figuring out what profession or business you should switch to. The simple self improvement tools and tips I’m about to share here have helped me and many others to get more clear on business and life in general.
Here’s my simple self improvement tips to come up with your own, great business ideas:
1) Connect with yourself!
You have to listen! It’s absolutely impossible to come up with good ideas, unless you dedicate some time with yourself. Take some time off and go to a quiet place that you love.
Tip: Get a notebook and start to write a diary! If you don’t like to write just add in words, bullet points of all the ideas that come each day, your thoughts that can lead you towards your business, things that you see, that inspire you etc. Include your answers to the following questions as well:
- What business would I launch if I had all the skills, time and money to do it?
- If success was guaranteed, what product or services would I offer?
- What makes me really motivated and enthusiastic in life?
2) Do more of what you love!
Spend time with people and things you love ! They will make you feel motivated and enthusiastic which is key to creating something amazing. You have to feel excited, that is when the best ideas will come. Not only because it’s a positive state of mind, but also you are much more brave and less fear can attack you.
3) Visualize 5 minutes each morning!
Before getting out of bed in the morning, keep your eyes closed and take a few deep breaths. Visualize whatever you already know about what your business should be like. For example if you have no idea what type of product it should be like, but you feel it should be something related to wellness and should be sold online, visualize that. Just give some positive thoughts to it and more details will been seen on the way!
4) List out what you are good at!
Make a list of 30 things that you are good at. All the experiences, studies, skills, everything that you have learnt until today. Don’t only think of business related skills, list out everything. Also personal characteristics that can help you as an entrepreneur.
Do some brainstorming sessions time to time with yourself , but also invite your friends, family (only those who truly support you) to help you brainstorm. Ask them what they think you would be good at! Think outside the box, add in ideas that seem impossible or crazy at first!
6) Believe in yourself!
This is the most important one. You don’t only need to master believing in yourself when the business is already launched, but also at the stage of gathering ideas. As if you limit yourself with fears and beliefs, you might miss out on the idea. Also sometimes we are waiting for that one big idea, but it doesn’t have to be so unique to be successful. Sometimes keeping it simple is the key!
7) Be open minded!
Keep yourself open for the opportunities, listen to what people and different signs are telling you. Really, learn to listen to people! Surround yourself with inspiring minds, who can motivate you on your journey!
I truly encourage you to start to use these simple tools as they will help you tremendously to find your idea!
You don’t have time to waste, life is beautiful, start to live the way you really want today!
