“Some people are so poor, that all they have is money”
I come from the corporate world, where you receive a pay check at end or the beginning of each month like clockwork. You have to work a lot and perform, but unless you do a really bad job, you get your money. But when you start your own business it’s different as you earn as much as you sell and if you have problems with money, it won’t flow as you would expect it.
I always felt me and money are close friends, but we couldn’t move our relationship to the next level: becoming best friends. I always managed to get along as kid, as I experienced both ends: being rich and poor as well. When I got my first salary I was so proud and this was just the beginning as my income grew year by year. I made good money, so when I asked myself about my relationship regarding wealth I thought we are O.K. But one time when I had to stand up for myself and my money, I didn’t. So that started a conversation inside of me and highlighted the importance of fixing my beliefs about it.
Now, as I stepped on the path of becoming an entrepreneur I realized I have to take our relationship to the next level: me and money, we need to be honest with each other and become best buddies who truly support and love each other. Clean all the negative beliefs and limits that are stopping me to manifest more into my life.
Here’ what I needed to change in order to earn more money:
Money is not the sole purpose in life!
It is absolutely amazing if you can have a nice house, a fancy car or if you can travel the world. But none of these things alone will make you happy. I had all of the above and still I did not feel content. I believe money is a fantastic support factor in order to buy our material dreams. But if you build your entire life around having more and more, I can guarantee that you will lose focus and miss a lot of amazing things around you!
Rather than saying you want to have a Porsche, ask yourself: What is the benefit for me of having one? What is the feeling that it’s giving me?
This way you can test what is behind your material needs. (like having a nice apartment is comfort or security, but if your goal is to show off, it’s not something that will make you happy). Don’t let your ego take over!
Take some time to list out all your material goals and challenge each of them using the above questions!
Whether you believe it or not, money is energy and it’s super light. You need to treat it with gratitude, love, and softness so it will stay around. All of us have issues and beliefs with money, I have not met one client who doesn’t, so I encourage you to take some time to do this exercise:
1 ) List out all your negative beliefs regarding money and being wealthy! (For example: money is bad, you have to work hard, even suffer to get enough, rich get richer, the poor get poorer etc.)
2) Now please underline 2 of the beliefs that you feel have the most power over you!
3) Reword them into positive, using only present tense, excluding negative words such as: no or never.
4) Write these two sentences on a dollar bill and stick it on your fridge or bathroom mirror, so you can see it every day! Use colors to fill it up with more positive energy!
The goal of this exercise is to plant some positive seeds so you start to feel good about manifesting money, therefore you will have more in your life! Many people feel they don’t deserve money or that all rich people are rude or that they are not capable of having enough money. This is nothing else but a negative thinking pattern running in our head. All you need to do is realize what your personal patterns are and start to transform them! You will be surprised how many beliefs you have!
Tip: Please think about what is it that you really need to buy and what are things that you don’t need at all? Use part of that money to launch your true dreams or support others in need!
“Too many people spend money they haven’t earned, to spend on things they don’t want, to impress people they don’t like”
