Repeating a positive affirmation everyday is one of the simplest tool to make positive changes in your life! They turn our attention from the past to the present and the future. You don’t need to analyze your past, your childhood, all the bad things that have happened to you, but focus on who you want to be, switch your attention from the problem to the solution.
Positive affirmations are simple sentences which you can say out loud or just repeat them to yourself anytime during the day. They help you reprogram your mind and basically teach you a different and more positive reality.
We have so many limiting beliefs in our mind which limit us from living the life that we really want. They can make us feel scared, incapable, unworthy, so we stay in our comfort zone. Don’t misunderstand me, it is a great thing to analyze yourself, either on your own or with the help of a professional (psychologist or a coach). But sometimes you just need to let go and start to feel good about the problem with the help of affirmations.
Change your life with a positive affirmation each day, starting with the following 3:
1.) ‘I fully love and accept myself for who I am and the way I am!’
I cannot highlight enough the importance of accepting and loving yourself! Everything starts here and if you love and accept yourself the way you are, the world will change for you. You will find small things beautiful and you will start to fulfill your dreams one by one. People will notice the difference, not just the way you look, but also the more love you have for yourself, for them and the world!
In the beginning you might feel weird or even angry saying these words. When I first tried it I felt I am liar, as I hated the way I lived and unfortunately myself.
Be patient with yourself, as you are about to achieve the number one goal in your life: Loving yourself!
2, ‘I am capable of achieving the life I really want’
Many people think life is a struggle; it’s full of stress, problems and so on! If you feel this way, you need to start working on changing your attitude towards life and yourself. If you really believed it was possible to live a dream life I guess you would live it already! Start with this simple statement to reprogram your brain. I also suggest that you make a list of your dreams! Don’t limit yourself, write down everything that comes to mind!
3, ‘Life is full of wonderful new opportunities for me’
Once we are able to let go of the pressure, stress and negligence, we will start to notice even the small opportunities that come our way each day. Imagine the huge difference between walking on the street focusing on the life you don’t want or strolling the streets as you feel good about yourself, thinking everything is possible and feeling grateful. If you put focus towards the solution and the positive energies, new doors will open up for you.
Now, you should not believe a word I wrote here! Any advice you ever hear from someone else, you should test for yourself! Select one positive affirmation and repeat it each day to start to feel the difference it creates! Give it a try!
